Data controller

On The Terraces Online Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company number 13213348), registered office 150 Neville Road, Solihull, B90 2QX, is the data controller for information collected through this site. What we store in your browser

This site keeps a few small pieces of data in your browser's own local storage — your age-confirmation status, your Build-a-Bet shortlist, and any collapsed/expanded panel preferences. None of this is sent to us or shared with anyone; it stays on your device and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. It's cookieless — it doesn't use tracking cookies or store any personally identifying information — and reports only aggregated data such as page views and general visit counts. We rely on legitimate interests as our lawful basis for this: understanding site usage to keep it running well, without identifying individual visitors.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. We use it to reply and to deal with any request you make. We keep these emails in our business email account for 12 months after our last message with you, then delete them, unless we need to keep them longer to meet a legal duty or to record how we handled a data request. We don't use your address to send you marketing. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us and, where you make a data request, our legal duty to respond to it.

Services that handle data for us

These services process information when you visit the site or when we run it:

• Vercel hosts the site and runs its cookieless analytics. When a page is served, Vercel handles standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type in its server logs.
• Render hosts the service that some pages load football data from, such as Match Intelligence and the Data Centre. When one of those pages loads, your browser connects to that service, so Render receives your IP address in its server logs. Its servers for this service are in the United States.
• Neon hosts our football database. It holds match, club and player data and nothing about visitors.
• Google provides our business email.
• GitHub holds our code and runs our scheduled data jobs. It holds nothing about visitors.

Sending data outside the UK

Some of these providers are based in, or run servers in, the United States. Where we send personal data to a provider there, we rely on the UK-US data bridge where the provider is certified under it, and otherwise on standard contractual clauses together with the UK's international data transfer terms, under that provider's data processing terms.

Affiliate/third-party links

Clicking an affiliate link to a bookmaker takes you to that operator's own site, governed by their own privacy policy — we don't control what they collect. The site does not currently have any affiliate integrations live, so no tracking parameters or cookies are set on our side before a click-through today. If and when that changes, this section will be updated to disclose exactly what's set and why before it goes live.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, request its erasure, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@terracesterminal.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
