GILLINGHAMVOLDHAMATHLETIC

Match insight

There's daylight between Gillingham and Oldham Athletic on the current numbers — this isn't a fixture between equals. Gillingham currently sit 17 places and 8 points above Oldham Athletic in the table — 4th against 21st. Gillingham have taken 10 points from their last 5, against 1 for Oldham Athletic over the same stretch. Form and table position both point the same way here, but a class gap on paper is still no guarantee on the day for Gillingham against a motivated Oldham Athletic.
