FLEETWOODTOWNVWALSALL

Match insight

There's daylight between Fleetwood Town and Walsall on the current numbers — this isn't a fixture between equals. Walsall currently sit 10 places and 4 points above Fleetwood Town in the table — 6th against 16th. Fleetwood Town have taken 2 points from their last 5, against 7 for Walsall over the same stretch. Form and table position both point the same way here, but a class gap on paper is still no guarantee on the day for Walsall against a motivated Fleetwood Town.
